Despite interest from Tottenham and Juventus, Roma attacker Nicolo Zaniolo is reportedly unlikely to leave the Italian capital in this transfer window.
90min has previously reported of the Spurs boss’s long-standing interest in the 23-year-old, as Conte has seen him as an attacking midfielder and also a wing-back option. Despite Roma’s hopes of keeping him and handing him a new contract later this year, Hotspurs are continuing to push for a transfer. The capital club, however, showed no intention of lowering their demands: €50-60 million.
However, a report from Calciomercato claims that Tottenham are unwilling to meet such a high price for the talented young playmaker. But the North London club were refusing to give up on the winger and Paratici had already met with Giallorossi’s general manager Tiago Pinto in recent days to have further talks.
Juventus, remain interested in Zaniolo having also held negotiations with Roma this summer, however, have not resumed talks with the Giallorossi and seem also to be unable to meet Roma’s demands.
