Roma appear to have secured their midfield reinforcements after Georginio Wijnaldum‘s injury, closing in on Olympiacos’ Mady Camara.
The 25-year-old Guinea international, whose contract will expire until June 2024, is also closely linked with another Serie A side in Monza and Ligue 1 side LOSC.
Roma are close to reaching an agreement with the Greek club to loan him out with an option to buy at the end of the season, according to Sky Sports Italia. Olympiacos and Camara’s entourage have already agreed on personal terms. Reports said that it will be a loan of €2m and a further €8m option to buy.
Mourinho’s transfer plans were forced to change after Wijnaldum broke his leg during training, leaving him out of action for months.
He had just joined Paris Saint-Germain on loan and came off the bench in the game against Salernitana.
Mady Camara joined Olympiacos from AC Ajaccio in 2018 and contributed 2 goals and 2 assists in 45 games last season.
