Michael Bradley has a point to prove at AS Roma after his big money move from Chievo.
Roma forked out 3.75 million Euros to sign the USA midfielder from their Serie A rivals.
Bradley scored during Roma’s 2-1 friendly win over Liverpool in Boston on Wednesday, but admits he has to prove himself in competitive action.
“I do feel the pressure of having to prove I’m worth the investment the club have made in me and prove that they’ve made the right decision,” said Bradley.
“I want to succeed at Roma as I view it as an important test. I don’t want to disappoint them and I don’t want to let down my teammates or the fans.
“All I’m doing is trying to live every single moment here to the full, training session after training session,” he continued.
“We’re still in pre-season and we have to work hard, as it’s now that we have to get into the best shape possible to cope with the demands of the season ahead of us.
“There’s still a long way to go – I’m taking it one step at a time.”
