AS Roma says goodbye to the U.S. Next stop Irdning, Austria
Goodbye America. With last night’s friendly match against El Salvador, AS Roma’s tour in the US draws to a close.
It’s time to pack, to say good-bye to the Big Apple and to return to the splendid normality of Italy’s capital. Roma is leaving the US in this hours, and is expected to land tomorrow morning.
Coach Zdenek Zeman will grant the team two days off after which the team will resume its activities in Trigoria on August 1.
On August 2, Roma will head to Irdning (Austria) for their second training camp. Upon return from Irdning (August 13), only 13 more days will separate Roma from the start of the Serie A championship, in which Roma’s journey is already known.
Roma will face, in this order, Catania, Inter, Bologna, Cagliari, Juventus , etc. and gradually all teams, gradually leading up to the double-challenge against Milan and Napoli.
In conclusion, upon return from Irdning, everything should be in place: players, physical condition and concentration.
